DCI Cheese Company Expands Organic Cheese Brand

Submitted by Staff on February 18, 2010 – 7:42 PMNo Comment

DCI Cheese Company (DCI) has introduced an extension to its Organic Creamery line: Organic American cheese slices available in eight-slice straight stack and 16-slice twin stack packs. The new pasteurized process slices are available in the specialty cheese section of select retailers across the country.

Organic Creamery cheeses are produced in a manner that is beneficial to the health and welfare of people, animals and the environment. All products are hand-crafted by award winning Wisconsin cheesemakers with 100% certified organic milk. The fresh milk used in production is sourced from family farms that practice humane animal management and pasture grazing and is free of pesticides, antibiotics and hormones. Additionally, no animal rennet or artificial colorings are used during production. Organic Creamery cheeses proudly display the USDA organic seal.

DCI has been at the forefront of the organic cheesemaking trend. Recognizing the demand for organic milk nationwide, DCI was quick to source its own organic milk supply to ensure volume to meet customer demand for high quality organic cheese.

Through the Organic Creamery brand, DCI offers the most extensive line of certified organic cheese varieties in the United States. In addition to the new Organic American slices, Organic Creamery’s full product line includes White Colby, White Mild Cheddar, Sharp Cheddar, Muenster, Monterey Jack and Monterey Jack Pepper sticks; Gorgonzola, Blue and Feta crumbled cups; Asiago and Parmesan shredded cups; Parmesan grated cups; Colby, Sharp Cheddar, White Cheddar, Muenster, Parmesan, Monterey Jack and Monterey Jack Pepper wedges; Mild Cheddar shingle packs; String Cheese; and Goat Cheese logs.
